Fowzia Janahi - is one of the well-known Bahraini lawyers and the financial secretary of Bahrain Bar Association and a member of the administrative body of the Arab Women's Legal Network, Member of the Karama Association, Member of the Arbitration Center, as well of being an activist in the field of women's rights and advocator of the rights of Patients of Gender identity disorder.

Tasks and achievements:

 

- Worked for eight years as a lawyer defending women in cases and family disputes under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain.

- First Arab Muslim lawyer to advocate for sex reform in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Arabic Gulf and the Middle East, and a human rights activist interested in women affairs, children, people with disabilities and people with sexual identity disorders.

- Establishment of a special law firm covering all types of cases. The scope of its work extends to all GCC countries. The office works in both Shari'a and Al-Jafari lawsuits, civil and commercial lawsuits, and related contracts and establishment of companies, Criminal cases and sexual identity disorders.

- Participates for Bahrain gaining highest participation percentage among GCC countries according to the organizers number of the legal network for Arab women.
